  The Ford Christian Church is a part of a great brotherhood of thousands of churches around the world, which is known as the Restoration Movement. The purpose of the Restoration Movement is not to start a new Church but to restore the New Testament Church in name, doctrine, and in practice.
  
  The Plea is to accept Christ as authority in all things. Matthew 28:18. There is only one name by which men can be saved, the name of Christ. Acts 4:12. Christ is our only creed. John 14:1. The Bible is our only rule of faith and practice. 2Timothy 3:16.
  
  The Plan of salvation is simply stated in the Bible. The sinner must believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, John 20:31, which leads him to believe also in God, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and the Church. This brings a change of mind. He is to repent of his sins, Luke 13:3, which is a Godly sorrow that brings a change of will. He is to make a public confession of Jesus Christ. Matthew 10:32. This brings a change of allegiance. He is to be baptized by immersion into the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, for the remission of his sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:38. This brings a change of state. He is then a child of God, a member of the body of Christ, a new Christian. Acts 2:47.
  
  The new Christian is to live faithfully, Matthew 10:22 adn Revelation 2:10 efver working for the benefit of Christ, who will bestow upon the faithfull the crown of life, which is life everlasting. 2Timothy 4:8.
  
  The Purpose is the Unity of baptized believers, John 17, and World Evangelism, Matthew 28:19-20.
  
  "Where the Scriptures speak, we speak; where the Scriptures are silent, we are silent."
  
  "In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love."
